I don't think it's such a good idea.. The newbie helpers are already stretched pretty thin between sending welcome scribbles to new members and dealing with the issue hub. I think another chat they'll have to pay attention to would just be a bit too much for 'em.

No support. We have an Issue Hub specifically for newbies to go to so that they can submit questions there. The adding of a chat room for questions and newbie helpers would give no reason to the Hub.
